DBTK, which stands for Don’t Blame The Kids, is one of the most influential homegrown streetwear brands in the Philippines. It is widely recognized for blending local street culture with mainstream fashion, earning a loyal following and cult status among Filipino youth and creatives.
How the DBTK Business Started
DBTK was founded in 2012 by brothers Emil and Vince Javier in their family home in Quezon City. What began as a small passion project quickly evolved into a movement driven by their mantra, “Dream Big, Start Small.” This message resonated strongly with young Filipinos and became the foundation of the DBTK community, known as the DBTKMOB.
DBTK Business Growth and Expansion
From local streetwear drops, DBTK steadily gained national recognition and attracted major international collaborations. Over the years, the brand partnered with global names such as H&M, Pokémon, Sesame Street, Hot Wheels, and Sanrio, as well as lifestyle brands like Mountain Dew and GOMO. In late 2025, DBTK reached a major milestone by debuting at Manila Fashion Week with its collection “Folding Dreams Into Flight,” marking its evolution from graphic tees to more complex, fashion-forward designs.

DBTK offers streetwear apparel and accessories known for bold graphics, strong storytelling, and high-quality materials. Its collections include graphic tees, jackets, workwear-inspired pieces, and limited “Quickstrike” releases. The brand operates a flagship store in Project 8, Quezon City, along with satellite stores in key locations such as Ronac Art Center, SM North EDSA, Greenhills, and Clark Cityfront. DBTK also sells online through its website and major e-commerce platforms.
